So, I'm sitting in a station in a 1.0 system. I have a -8 sec status. I came here in a pod (and ofc I could leave in one). Question: can I undock, warp to the gate and then fly through like 7 further high sec systems and eventually reach sub 0.5 ...

I agree with OP. It happened due to a bug. I was forced to sell some stuff cause I thought a systme in the route must have changed sec status or something. I had no idea about the bug. I don't care about compensation but if someone wanted it then...
